Students from the CCEOC recently watched the National Geographic movie, The Rescue, and they recently had the opportunity to meet one of the "stars." Students had an informative live Zoom call with one of the rescuers and cast members from the movie.
The Rescue chronicles the enthralling against-all-odds true story of the daring rescue of twelve boys and their coach from deep inside a flooded cave in Northern Thailand. Joshua Morris, one of the people responsible for rescuing the boys and their coach, called in for a Zoom session with the classrooms at the Opportunity Center. The students were able to ask Josh questions about the harrowing rescue in this engaging encounter.
